Test Architect - Security Domain

Job Description
The Test Architect will be responsible for providing Technical Leadership to the Testing
activities and responsible for the overall Quality of various Identity and Security
Management products handled by the Business Unit. He/She will involve in
understanding Business requirements and the software design, works with the
Development Architect to formulate & develop effective Test Architecture and strategies
for QA. He/She is expected to pro-actively analyze current processes and practices and
suggest/ drive improvements/additional processes. He/She will play a key role in
influencing the Business Unit’s future direction, strategy and planning.
This role is treated on par with first line Management positions in terms of rewards,
recognition, visibility and influence, but without any people Management responsibility.
Experience & Skills:
· BE/BTech in Electronics/Communication/Computer Engineering with 7 to 9 Years of
experience. Minimum 4 Years hands-on in component and Integration testing
activities on products related to Networking and Security areas, such as Access
Gateway, VPN, SSO, Identity Management and Directory.
· Extensive technical skills on: HTTP, SSL, SOAP, XML, SAML/ Liberty Alliance
Web Service Framework, SSO, LDAP.
· Good hands-on in Linux.
· Hands on in C, Scripting, Perl/Ruby and Automation tools (QTP, RFT)
· Sound knowledge on Networking and Security domains.
· Sound knowledge on testing concepts, testing process, test/defect management
systems and Quality analysis/prediction.
· Excellent communication, problem solving skills and ability to provide technical
guidance to the team.
